Join the George Washington University Law School Black Law Students Association for the 38th Annual Patricia Roberts Harris Awards Dinner (PRH Dinner). Graduating at the top of her class in 1960, Mrs. Harris was a lauded public servant who achieved many great accomplishments during her career. Notably, she was the first African-American woman to serve as a U.S. Ambassador, serve in the U.S. Cabinet, and serve as Dean of a law school.  The PRH Dinner serves as a tribute to Mrs. Harris’ legacy.

This year’s theme, Continuing the Vision of Excellence, serves as a reminder of Mrs. Harris’ achievements and recognizes the work that BLSA members have continued to accomplish.  The 2016 BLSA graduating class, outstanding BLSA members, BLSA alumni, faculty and staff members, and dedicated GW BLSA sponsors will all be recognized.  Our keynote speaker is Mr. Rodney Pratt, who like Mrs. Harris, has made significant contributions to our community.  Mr. Pratt is an alumnus of GW Law and currently serves as the Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary at Converse.
