Joey is a 3L and native of Omaha, Nebraska. Joey was a 2024 summer associate at Covington & Burling LLP. Prior to attending the George Washington University Law School Joey enjoyed a career as a pianist, organist, composer, and teacher. He moved to Washington, DC, in 2015 after earning his Bachelor of Music in piano performance at Lawrence University, and earned his Master of Music in solo piano at the University of Maryland, College Park, in 2018. Outside law school, he can be found performing in local jazz clubs or teaching his three cats, Moki, Piki, and Bennett new tricks. Joey lives in Northwest with his fiancée, Annabelle.

Ariana is a 3L from Fairfax, Virginia. She graduated from Christopher Newport University with a major in Political Science and a double minor in Philosophy of Law and Spanish. Ariana is interested in litigation and is the VP of Internal Competitions for the GW Law Mock Trial Board. On campus, she is a LexisNexis Associate, the Senior Notes Editor for the Federal Circuit Bar Journal, and the Secretary for the Middle Eastern North African Law Student Association. In her free time, Ariana enjoys walking around DC, playing word games, traveling, and trying new restaurants.

"I am a Dean’s Fellow because my Dean's Fellows were like the ghostbusters: no matter what concern, question, or frustration I had or felt, I knew I could always turn to them for advice. My mentors in law school have provided me with immeasurable help, and if I can fulfill a similar role for even one first-year law student, then my time in law school will be even more worthwhile."

Natalie is a 3L pursuing a concentration in Intellectual Property Law. She is a Los Angeles, CA native, and graduated from the University of Southern California with a degree in English. During her time at GW Law, she has been a member of the Moot Court Board, the Armenian Law Students' Association, SIPLA, the co-lead student advisor for Cardozo Inn, and is the current Executive Notes Editor for the AIPLA Quarterly Journal. This past summer, she was a legal intern in the Music Business and Legal Affairs department at Sony Pictures Entertainment. In her free time, Natalie loves going to the Smithsonian's National Zoo, building Disney Legos, and having late night adventures at the Lincoln Memorial.

The mentorship that takes place in FL classes as a result of the Dean's Fellow Program was critical to my growth as a law student. I hope to provide the same level of support and guidance to this year's 1Ls so they have every opportunity to get the most from their 1L year."

Xander is a 3L from Los Angeles, California. He graduated from GW undergrad with a degree in international affairs in 2021. He is part of the International Law in Domestic Courts Journal, the Entertainment and Sports Law Association, and the Jewish Law Student Association at GW Law and is pursuing a concentration in National Security and U.S. Foreign Relations Law. After 1L, Xander worked at the Superior Court of the District of Columbia as a judicial intern, while this past summer he was a summer associate at Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck, where he focused on litigation and government investigations. In his free time, Xander enjoys cycling around DC, playing pickup basketball, and reading.

Jada is a 2L from Dallas, TX by way of Rochester, NY. She graduated from Howard University, where she studied Legal Communications and Political Science. Jada is interested in public interest law and civil litigation. She spent her summer at Public Counsel, a pro-bono law firm, working on various class action litigation cases. At GW Law, Jada is a member of the George Washington Law Review, a member of the Moot Court Board, serves as an Academic Chair for the Black Law Student Association, and works as a Research Assistant for the Ethical Tech Initiative. Outside of law school, Jada enjoys watching gymnastics, listening to Beyoncé, and trying new restaurants with friends.

Ryan is a 2L originally from Flower Mound, Texas. Before coming to law school, Ryan attended The University of Texas at Austin, where she earned a Bachelor of Science and Arts in Neuroscience and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology. During her 1L summer, Ryan clerked at the law firm Friedman, Suder & Cooke, where she worked on patent litigation matters. In her 2L summer, she worked as a Summer Associate at Jackson Walker's Dallas office in the general litigation practice group. Since beginning law school, Ryan has served as the Director of Disability Services for the Student Bar Association, as a Law School Senator for the Student Government Association, and as a 1L representative for the Equal Justice Foundation. Ryan is currently working as a Lexis Associate for LexisNexis and is a member of the Public Contracts Law Journal. In her free time, she loves to play soccer on the mall, explore the Smithsonian Museums, try new restaurants, and go to the dog park with her three dogs: Loki, Emma, and Riley.

Camille is a 2L from Los Angeles, CA. She graduated from the University of Chicago with a degree in Psychology. Camille is pursuing a concentration in Business and Finance Law, and is interested in transactional practice. On campus, Camille is a member of the George Washington Law Review, the Co-Director of Events for the GW Law Association for Women (L.A.W.), the Outreach Coordinator for If/When/How, and a member of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Board. Outside of law school, Camille loves to take boxing classes at Rumble (where she works part-time), go on runs, and cook for her friends.

Joe is a 3L from New Hampshire. He received his undergraduate degree from Saint Anselm College in 2016, where he was captain of the men's tennis team. After college, he moved to Connecticut, where he met his wife. In 2022, Joe moved to DC and started at GW Law, pursuing a J.D. concentration in Privacy, Data Security, and Technology. While at GW Law, he has interned with the Civil Division of the DC Superior Court and worked as a summer associate at Kelley Drye & Warren. Currently, Joe serves as the Senior Online Editor of the George Washington Law Review. Outside of school and work, Joe loves playing guitar, talking about movies with his cinephile friends, and plotting the redemption arc of his Volo cornhole team that finished in second place last year.

Cait is a 3L who is primarily interested in corporate law. Originally from Dundee, Michigan, Cait earned a BA in International Relations from Richmond American International University. In addition to being a Dean's Fellow, she is a Notes Editor for the Federal Communications Law Journal and a member of LAMBDA. This summer, she was a summer associate at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett. Outside of law school, Cait enjoys Michigan summers, Adam Sandler movies, and hanging out with her 3-legged dog Cooper.

Addie is a 2L from Atlanta, Georgia. She received her BS from Georgia Tech majoring in Public Policy and while in Atlanta completed several internships concerning voting rights. At GW, Addie is an Inns of Court advisor and a member of GW's Law Association for Women, where she served as a 1L Representative for Cardozo Inn. This summer, she worked for a solo practitioner concerned with employment law and disability rights as well as for FL Professor Gambert conducting research for the FL program. She is interested in pursuing a career in a variety of subject areas, ranging from privacy law to women's rights. In her free time, you can catch Addie updating her Letterboxd profile, finding a new matcha latte in DC, or cheering on the ATL Braves!

Caroline is a 3L from Long Island, NY. She graduated from Binghamton University with a degree in Political Science and History. She worked at the NYC Law Department in the Special Federal Litigation Division this past summer. At GW, she is an Executive Editor for the Federal Circuit Bar Journal and the Inns of Court Program Coordinator. Caroline is pursuing an Intellectual Property Concentration and will participate in the Intellectual Property and Technology Law Clinic in the Fall of 2024. She enjoys painting, reading, and finding new music in her free time.

Trish is a 3L from Charlotte, North Carolina with an interest in litigation and antitrust law. Trish graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a double major in Business Administration and Political Science and spent 3 years working as a management consultant before starting law school. At GW, Trish is a member of the George Washington Law Review, Moot Court Board, and the Antitrust Law Association. Trish has previously interned at the DC Superior Court, the US Department of Justice, and most recently, at Kirkland and Ellis' DC office in the Antitrust group. In her free time, Trish enjoys running, reading fantasy novels, and cooking for her Instagram page @a_dish_by_trish

Brennan is a 3L and returning Dean's Fellow interested in government procurement law. He graduated from The College of New Jersey with a BA in political Science. At GW Law, he is the Senior Notes Editor for the Public Contract Law Journal and is Co-President of the GW Law Student Ambassadors Program.  He is also a member of the Hispanic Bar Association of DC. He was a student-attorney with the GW Law Immigration Clinic in Summer 2023, and a Pathways Legal Intern with the GSA Office of Inspector General in Summer 2024. Outside of school, Brennan spends time with his fiancée and two dogs.

Emily is a 3L from Richmond, Virginia. She attended William & Mary for undergrad, majoring in History and Public Policy. In between undergrad and law school Emily spent a year traveling the country in AmeriCorps NCCC. On campus she is a research assistant and member of the George Washington Law Review. She spent her summer as a summer associate at McDermott in the government contracts group. In her free time Emily enjoys cooking, reading historical fiction, and shopping.

Nicole is a 3L originally from Wellesley, Massachusetts. She graduated from Washington University in St. Louis in 2019 with a double major in Art History and Political Science. Since starting at GW Law, she has interned at the Department of Justice in their Aviation, Space, and Admiralty Civil Litigation section and at the United States District Court for the District of Columbia. This past summer, Nicole was a summer associate at Covington & Burling in their New York City office. In her free time, Nicole enjoys visiting DC’s free museums and trying new restaurants.

Noah is a 3L originally from Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. He is a graduate of the University of Michigan, where he studied history. On campus, Noah is a Notes Editor for the George Washington Law Review and member of the Mock Trial Board. Last summer, he worked as a summer associate at Hogan Lovells, focusing predominately on life sciences regulatory matters. In his free time, Noah enjoys cooking, playing tabletop games, visiting museums, watching the Detroit Lions, and playing tennis.

"I am a Dean's Fellow because some of the most valuable skills I learned in law school were in my Fundamentals of Lawyering classes. I'm hoping to help 1Ls cultivate those same skills and become confident and comfortable in their lawyering abilities."

Abigayle is a 3L from Upstate New York. She received her undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice from the University at Albany, SUNY. Prior to law school, she worked as an administrative assistant for two years. At GW, Abigayle is the President of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Board. She spent her 1L summer working for Sheats & Bailey and her 2L summer as a summer associate at Varela, Lee, Metz & Guarino. During the school year she had the opportunity to serve as a judicial intern for Magistrate Judge Robin Meriweather. In her free time, Abigayle loves tending to her plants and crushing her friends in fantasy football.

William is a 3L from New Milford Connecticut. He graduated from the University of Connecticut with a degree in Finance and a minor in political science. William worked as a clerk for the energy and technology committee at the Connecticut general assembly for a year after college before coming to GW. His 1L summer he worked at the Connecticut office of consumer counsel on energy regulation issues. This past year he worked for a Trusts & estates attorney on estate planning issue. This summer he worked for a small firm out in Reston Virginia on civil litigation issues and government contracts cases. This coming year, William will extern with the FERC office of administrative litigation and he enjoys tennis, walking, and cooking.

"I am a Dean's Fellow because I want to help 1Ls adapt to law school. My DFs were extremely helpful in my 1L year, and I want to pass on what I've learned in and out of classes to help students tackle law school coursework and legal writing with as little stress as possible."

Mary Kate, or MK, is a 3L from Rockville, MD. She graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park with degrees in Government and Politics and Japanese. After college, she taught English in Japan with the JET Program. MK worked at the Arlington County Circuit Court in her 1L summer and at the National Defense Industries Association Emerging Technologies Institute her 2L summer. On campus, MK is the President of the International Law Society, Vice President of the First Generation Professionals, and Senior Notes Editor for the International Law in Domestic Courts journal. She loves reading, sports, baking, and playing video games and tabletop roleplaying games (think D&D) in her free time.

Being a first generation law student, my Dean's Fellows were invaluable mentors who helped guide me through my first year. I hope to do the same for incoming 1Ls and help make their transition to law school a positive experience."

Alex Hinton is a 2L from Atlanta, Georgia interested in administrative and regulatory law. He holds a BA in International Affairs and a Master's of Public Administration from the University of Georgia. Prior to law school, Alex worked as a Grants Specialist at the University of Georgia and an International Trade Manager at the Georgia Department of Economic Development. Now at GW Law, Alex is a member of the George Washington Law Review, Lambda Law, and the Law, Justice, the International Development Society, where he served as the 1L Representative for Jackson Inn. During his 1L summer, Alex worked as an Ethics and Legal Compliance Intern at the United States Postal Service. In his free time, Alex enjoys reading, playing with his dog, and searching for DC's best happy hour spot.

"I am a Dean’s Fellow because My own DFs were a huge part of making 1L feel less intimidating and helping me realize that even if legal writing and speaking felt new and unfamiliar, I would grow more comfortable as time went on. I wanted to pass that on to a new group of 1Ls and watch them grow as legal scholars and grow closer with each other, the way my own FL section did."

John is a 2L from Paso Robles, California. He is interested in litigation, international law, and artificial intelligence law. Before coming to law school, John worked for the City Attorney’s Office of San Luis Obispo, California, and the San Luis Obispo Superior Court. John graduated from The College of William and Mary in 2018 with a BA in International Relations. At GW Law, he is a member of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Board, Moot Court Board, Lambda Law, and The George Washington International Law Review. During his 1L summer, he interned for the Office of Special Counsel working with whistleblowers on wrongdoing in federal government agencies. In his free time, John likes playing video games, trying new foods, and traveling to new countries.

Elizabeth Jefimova is a rising 2LE part-time evening student from Brooklyn, New York.  She graduated from Brooklyn College with a Chemistry and History degree and later obtained a master’s degree in International Relations from New York University. During the day she works as a civilian employee for the United States Government. Outside of law school, Elizabeth enjoys reading novels, playing her Play Station, and checking off DC restaurants from her always-growing foodie list.

Ryan is a third-year law student from West Palm Beach, Florida who is interested in antitrust law. Ryan also attended GW for undergrad and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Political Science with minors in Economics and Business Administration. Prior to attending GW Law, Ryan worked as a legal assistant at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher and Flom LLP. Now at GW Law, Ryan is a member of GW Law Review, a member of the Mock Trial Board, and he is excited to be a Dean’s Fellow. During his 1L summer, Ryan worked at the Public Defender’s Office in his hometown of West Palm Beach. This past summer, Ryan was a summer associate at Jones Day. In his free time, Ryan enjoys going for runs around the National Mall, indulging in the incredible food DC has to offer, and cheering on the Miami Dolphins. Additionally, Ryan is a former segway tour guide in DC and is always happy to show folks around and share fun facts about the various monuments, memorials, and landmarks of the city!

I want to share my law school successes and struggles with 1Ls to help guide them through the start of their law school journey and set themselves up for a rewarding law school career. When I was a 1L my Dean's Fellows were an excellent resource that helped me strengthen my legal skills and acclimate to law school, and I aim to play the same role for my students as a Dean's Fellow."

Will is a 3L from Florida. He graduated in 2022 from the University of Central Florida in Orlando, FL majoring in Legal Studies with a minor in Political Science. As a 1L at GW he served on the 1L Leadership Board and the Academic Affairs and Policy Committee, and during his 1L summer he worked as a Law Clerk for the National Veterans Legal Services Program. As a 2L he served as a Student Ambassador and a member of the Journal of Energy and Environmental Law, and during his 2L summer he worked in Orlando as an intern with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of Florida. In addition to being a DF, as a 3L Will serves as a Managing Editor for JEEL and is a member of the GW Law Soccer Club.

Cobi is a second-year student and native of Sugar Land, TX (a suburb of Houston). She attended Rice University where she earned her Bachelor's degree in History and a Master's in Global Affairs. Prior to attending GW Law, Cobi had the greatest job in the world — teaching math and history to the coolest elementary and middle school students in Texas! As a law student, Cobi is primarily interested in litigation and whole-heartedly recommends all incoming 1Ls to participate in the First Year Mock Trial Competition. She is a member of the Moot Court Board and George Washington International Law Review, and serves as Social Chair for the Christian Legal Society. Outside of class, you can find her binging Survivor or telenovelas.

Rachel is a 3L from Erwin, Tennessee. Prior to law school, she graduated from the University of Tennessee with a degree in Economics. During undergrad, she worked as a barista and volunteered as a mentor to high school students, both of which inspired her passion for engaging with her community. At GW Law, Rachel is a member of the Mock Trial and Moot Court boards, the Civil Rights and Civil Liberties Brief, and PCLJ. After law school, she hopes to pursue a career in public defense. In her free time, Rachel enjoys yoga and trying new coffee shops around the city.

Jordan is a 3L from Frisco, Texas. Prior to law school, Jordan attended Texas Tech University where he graduated Summa Cum Laude with a BA in Political Science and a BA in History. During Jordan’s 1L Summer, he served as a legal intern in the Felony Trial Division of the Collin County, Texas District Attorney's Office. He is currently spending his 2L summer as a Summer Associate for Mound, Cotton, Wollan & Greengrass in their New York City office. Jordan is the Secretary for the Real Estate Law Association, a member of the GW Moot Court Board, and a member of the George Washington International Law Review. In his free time, Jordan loves hiking, traveling, watching auteur cinema, and reading non-fiction history.

Shannon McCracken is a 2L from San Diego, California. She graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a BA in Political Science. She has experience interning at the US House of Representatives, the United Nations House in Scotland, and serving as the Secretariat of the CPG on Human Trafficking for the Scottish Parliament. She also spent time working with the Department of Justice as a paralegal before law school. Most recently, she has interned with the Federal Communications Commission. Outside of law school, she enjoys playing with her two kittens Cal and Chippy.

"I am a Dean's Fellow because I love to help others in the pursuit of knowledge in the law. Legal writing is a tool and, like many tools, requires training for effective use. As a returning Dean's Fellow, I hope to impart to the incoming 1L class the same skills my wonderful Dean's Fellows did to me."

Sawyer is a 3L from Little River, South Carolina, concentrating in government procurement law. He graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of South Carolina in 2022 with a BA in Political Science and a minor in Law and Society. At GW Law, Sawyer is the Chair of the Dean's Student Advisory Board, a member of the Public Contract Law Journal, the Alternative Dispute Resolution Board, Lambda Law, and a student ambassador. He has served as a summer law clerk at the Civilian Board of Contract Appeals, has externed at the General Counsel's Offices of the Department of Homeland Security and the General Services Administration, interned at the DC Office of Contracting and Procurement, and maintains a part-time job at lululemon, where he has worked since undergrad.

Elone is 2L from Los Angeles. In undergrad, she double majored in Psychology and Political Science. Elone is interested in civil rights impact litigation and criminal policy reform. In her free time, Elone enjoys crocheting, trying new restaurants, and watching movies with friends!

"I am a Dean’s Fellow because I believe that having a strong support system is crucial to every law student's success. Peer mentoring and connections with other law students are particularly valuable because we can all empathize with the unique obstacles that the first year of law school brings."

Kim is a 3L from southeast Michigan and is interested in patents and other intellectual property law. She attended Adrian College, where she received a Bachelor's of Science in Physics and a Bachelor's of Arts in Political Science in 2021. At GW Law, she is a Notes Editor for the American Intellectual Property Law Association Quarterly Journal and the Director of the Law Revue; she has previously served as the Lead Student Advisor for the O'Connor Inn of Court and as the founding Treasurer of the Music Law Association. Kim interned for the Los Angeles County Office of County Counsel's Appeals Division her 1L summer and spent this past summer at Carter, DeLuca & Farrell, where she worked primarily on patent prosecution matters, as well as copyrights and trademarks. Outside of law school, she is an avid Sudoku player and ice cream connoisseur.

Dan is a rising 3L and second year Dean's Fellow. He was born and raised in New Jersey. Dan is interested in litigation, antitrust, and international trade. Having served in a wide-variety of volunteer roles across the world, Dan has developed a passion for pro bono and public interest work as well. He is looking forward to working with 1Ls this coming fall.

Tarra is a rising 3L from Great Falls, VA. She graduated from William & Mary with a degree in Government and Public Health. Tarra is pursuing a health law concentration and hopes to work in health law after graduating. At GW, Tarra is the Director of Membership for the Moot Court Board, Membership & Project Editor on GW Law Review, and is a Kahan Health/FDA Law Fellow. During the year, she externed at Children’s National Hospital and will be externing at Centers for Medicare and Medicaid this upcoming year. For the past two summers, Tarra worked as a summer associate at Hall Render and an intern at the Office of Special Master in the Court of Federal Claims. In her free time, Tarra likes to get coffee, go on walks, and visit museums with friends.

"I am a Dean’s Fellow because as a first-generation law student, I was grateful to have the mentorship that allowed me to flourish as a 1L, and I hope to do the same for this year's class."

Jacob is a 2L from West Michigan interested in health law and policy. He studied kinesiology and Spanish at the University of Michigan, where he also competed in ballroom and latin dancing. Before attending law school, Jacob worked as a research project coordinator at the Michigan Performance Research Laboratory, collaborating with tech-industry partners to collect algorithm development data for health and performance metrics. At GW, Jacob is a member of the George Washington Law Review and serves as a Kahan Health/FDA Law Fellow. He spent the past summer interning with the Air Force Office of Special Trial Counsel, assisting with litigation preparation and policy drafting. Outside of school, Jacob enjoys traveling, playing volleyball, and experiencing DC.

Kristen is a 3L from Trumbull, CT. Before law school, she attended the University of Miami (Go Canes!) where she studied political science and English. Kristen is interested in pursuing a career in litigation and spent the past summer working at the Manhattan District Attorney's Office. At GW, Kristen is a member of the International Law Review, the Moot Court and Mock Trial Boards, and was formerly a Writing Fellow. Outside of law school, Kristen enjoys cooking, trying new restaurants, and staying active.

Giulianna is a 3L from California. She graduated from Gonzaga University in 2020. Before moving to DC for law school, Giulianna was the Environmental Advocacy Assistant for the Santa Clara Valley Audubon Society and a barista for her hometown coffee roasting company. Outside of law school Giulianna can be found running along the Potomac, playing beach volleyball, or enjoying a good book or tv show (always looking for recommendations).

Parris is a rising 2L from Fort Lauderdale, FL. Prior to law school, Parris served four years in the U.S. Air Force ending her military service as a non-commissioned officer supervising airmen. During her military service, Parris completed her undergraduate degree in Sociology and volunteered as a victim advocate for the Air Force’s Sexual Assault and Prevention Response Program. Additionally, Parris has served as a dependency case manger for children and family services . Parris spent this past summer working with the Office of Legal Counsel at Baltimore City Public Schools working on a wide variety of litigation matters. She is interested in pursuing a career in educational law and health law and passionate about pro bono work. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, trying new foods, and traveling.

Becca is a 3LE at GW Law.  During the day, Becca is a patent agent at Finnegan, Henderson, Farabow, Garrett & Dunner LLP.  At GW, she is co-president of the Evening Law Student Association and a member of the Moot Court and Alternative Dispute Resolution Boards.  Becca graduated from the University of Virginia in 2020 with a degree in chemical engineering.  She worked at the United States Patent and Trademark Office as a patent examiner for two years before starting law school part-time.  Outside of school and work, you can find Becca front row in a spin class or binging a Bravo show.

Abigail is a rising 2L from Morgantown, West Virginia. She attended West Virginia University and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Public Relations and a Master's degree in Journalism. During her 1L Summer, Abigail worked as a summer legal intern at the Federal Communications Commission in the Wireless Telecommunications Bureau's Broadband Division. During her free time, Abigail enjoys running, swimming, paddle boarding, and taking care of her many houseplants.

Matthew is a 3L from Long Island, New York. He previously graduated from Binghamton University with a BA in Philosophy, Politics, and Law. During his 1L summer, Matthew worked as a Law Clerk for the US Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs. He has also spent time during his 2L year interning at the Superior Court of the District of Columbia under Magistrate Judge Tanya Jones Bosier. Most recently, Matthew spent his summer at Amazon working as an intern on its Public Policy team at its headquarters in Arlington, VA. At GW Law, Matthew is the Student Editor-in-Chief of the American Intellectual Property Law Association Quarterly Journal, participates in LAMBDA, and is a member of the Student Intellectual Property Law Association. Outside of the classroom, Matthew loves going to the gym, photography, playing Mancala, and trying new restaurants.

Luke is a 3L and native of the San Francisco Bay Area. He graduated from University of California Riverside in  with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and worked as a manufacturing engineer prior to attending law school. At GW Luke is the president of the National Security Law Association, a member of the Moot Court Board, and a managing editor for the George Washington Law Review. While in law school, he has interned with the Army Judge Advocate General Corps, the Department of Justice, and the Department of Defense. Outside of school Luke spends his time petting every dog, rewatching The West Wing, and attempting—without success—to avoid being typecast by the Spotify algorithm.

Sasha is a 2L from Northern Virginia. She graduated from George Mason, with a Bachelor in Government and International Politics and worked in international polling prior to law school. At GW, Sasha is a member of the Journal of Energy & Environmental Law and actively involved in the Latin American Law Student Association, and International Law Society. In her 1L Summer, Sasha worked for the State Attorney's Office for the 17th District of Florida. Outside of law school Sasha enjoys playing way to intense games of rec lacrosse and watching movies.

Rileigh is a 3L originally from Huntington, West Virginia, where she also attended Marshall University and received a BA in English and Political Science. She spent her 2L summer as a Law Clerk at Burns White, LLC, where she worked specifically in insurance defense and litigation. At GW, Rileigh is a member of the Mock Trial Board, American Intellectual Property Association Quarterly Journal, Law Revue, LAW, and Lambda. Outside of law school, you can probably find her spending her time listening to Taylor Swift, reading, and hanging out with her pet guinea pigs, Ruth Bader Guineasburg and Ellie Woods.

Rachel is a 3L from Long Island, NY. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Miami with a degree in History and Political Science. Rachel is a member and Articles Editor of the Federal Circuit Bar Journal, and a member of the Civil Rights & Liberties Brief, the Mock Trial Board, and ACLU-GW Law Chapter. During her 2L summer, Rachel served as a legal intern at States United Democracy Center working on election law and voting rights research and litigation efforts. In her free time, Rachel teaches yoga and enjoys going for monument walks, reading, and trying new restaurants.

Audrey is a 3L law student originally from Oregon. Prior to coming to GW she studied law at the University of Edinburgh in Scotland where she found her passion for international law and arbitration. While at GW she is a member of Moot Court Board and externs with the State Department. In her free time and outside of law school, Audrey loves to garden on her windowsill and enjoy the outdoors.

Emily is a 3LE originally from Culpeper, Virginia with a degree in Government and Gender, Sexuality, and Women's Studies from the College of William & Mary. Emily currently works full time at Paul Weiss where she has been working since 2019. At GW Law, she is a member of the Moot Court and Alternative Dispute Resolution Boards and Co-President of the Evening Law Student Association. In her free time you will catch Emily bravely persevering in the challenging role of being a DC sports fan, traveling somewhere exciting, or completing her research into which brand of boxed mac-n-cheese reigns supreme.

Ben is a 3L student from Wayland, MA, who graduated from The George Washington University with his Bachelors of Business Administration.  Prior to law school, Ben worked in the sports and entertainment industry, negotiating advertising partnerships with celebrities and athletes on behalf of many of the world's most prominent brands. Ben spent this past summer at Covington & Burling in their New York office, is a member of The George Washington Law Review, and also plays the drums with the GW Law Bands.

Catherine Zhou is a rising third year law student at the George Washington University Law School. She is from right outside Philadelphia and attended Penn State for her undergraduate degree in Enterprise Risk Management. Catherine is a K-JD, and prior to attending law school, she worked in the sports industry for organizations such as BIG10 Athletics and Major League Baseball. This past summer, she clerked for a mid-sized law firm in the Bay Area. On campus, Catherine is involved on the Moot Court and Mock Trial Boards, as well as the Executive Editor of the Federal Circuit Bar Journal. In her free time, Catherine enjoys long distance runs and playing with her 18lb cat, Manny.
