The Sustainable Energy Initiative is an integral part of the law school's Environmental and Energy Law program. The Initiative is supported by Randall Abate, Assistant Dean for Environmental Law Studies and Professorial Lecturer in Law; Robert Glicksman, J.B. & Maurice C. Shapiro Professor of Environmental Law; Emily Hammond, Glen Earl Weston Research Professor; Richard J. Pierce, Jr., Lyle T. Alverson, Professor of Law. The curriculum is enriched by the government and private practice experience of the adjunct faculty members that teach energy law courses.
