Pride Month is a dedicated time and opportunity for the GW Law community to celebrate love and honor the 1969 Stonewall uprising in New York City. As an academic institution, we are committed to bringing forward the stories and lived experiences of the LGBTQIA+ community. We want to honor, learn, and think about LGBTQIA+ history all year long, but the month of June should symbolize our university’s and country’s commitment to intentionally pausing in order to reflect and celebrate together.
