Jonathan K. Gitlen is in private practice in Washington, DC, where he represents clients in civil and criminal matters. Prior to starting his own firm, Mr. Gitlen worked as an associate at Levi & Korsinsky, LLP, a plaintiff's class action securities firm, mainly representing investors in their lawsuit against Tesla for securities fraud. He also served for two years as the Director of the National Inventory of Collateral Consequences of Conviction (NICCC) for the American Bar Association's Criminal Justice Section. He has authored several articles on collateral consequences and been recognized as a leader in the field. Mr. Gitlen is a co-author of the Federal Criminal Procedure Litigation Manual. He is admitted to practice in California and Washington, DC.
