LLM Info Session

If you are considering pursuing your LLM degree at a law school in the Washington, D.C., area, GW Law will be hosting an LLM Information Session on Thursday, February 4. The session will allow you to meet with admissions representatives from several D.C.-area law schools, as well as learn about the application process and the value of the LLM degree.

LLM admissions representatives from the following law schools will be in attendance: 

  • American University Washington College of Law
  • The Catholic University of America Columbus School of Law 
  • George Mason University School of Law
  • The George Washington University Law School
  • Georgetown University Law Center 
  • Howard University School of Law

LLM admissions representatives will be available to meet with attendees from 5:30 pm until 6:15 pm, and again from 7:00 pm until 7:30 pm. An informational panel discussion and question and answer session will take place from approximately ​6:15 pm until ​7:00pm.


Directions

The Great Room is located on the first floor of GW Law's Jacob Burns Law Library. The Law Library's main entrance is 716 20th Street NW, Washington, DC; attendees may also use the law school's main entrance at 2000 H Street, NW.

Attendees may easily travel to and from the event via Metro on the Orange, Silver, or Blue Lines (Farragut West or Foggy Bottom stops), or the Red Line (Farragut North stop). The Jacob Burns Law Library is located less than a half-mile from the Foggy Bottom or Farragut West stations, and is less than a 15-minute walk from Farragut North.


Parking

Attendees may park in the University's G Street parking garage, which has access from both 20th Street and 21st Street between F and G Streets. After 5 pm, the cost to park in this garage is $10. Acceptable payment methods for the G Street garage include Visa and MasterCard (no cash payment option available). Parking is also available in the 2-hour metered parking areas adjacent to the event location.
