Kel B. McClanahan

Mr. McClanahan is the Executive Director of National Security Counselors, a Washington-area non-profit public interest law firm that specializes in national security law and information and privacy law, and through which he often represents Intelligence Community employees and contractors.

He is a regular contributor to Just Security and Lawfare and has been featured in the Washington Post, the Daily Beast, and Politico, among other outlets. He sits on the Steering Committee of the Make It Safe Coalition and has previously served on the FOIA Federal Advisory Committee. He belongs to the bars of New York, the District of Columbia, the US Supreme Court, and several other federal courts.
