Nana-Yaw Owusu

Nana Owusu currently serves as a Fellow in the Jacob Burns Community Legal Clinics. Nana received his JD from GW Law in 2023. Prior to returning to GW, Mr. Owusu was a legal fellow in the office of U.S Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-MA), contributing to the senator’s broad legislative and oversight agendas.

While in law school, he served as a Student Attorney in the Civil Access to Justice Clinic - Medical-Legal Partnership Division (now the Health Equity Policy & Advocacy Clinic), and was a member of the George Washington Law Review and Black Law Students Association. Mr. Owusu received his BA in Sociology from New York University and his MPH from the University of Virginia.
